Gypsy Dreams
May 2 at 7:00 PM — “Dzintari” Small Hall, Jurmala
A night of music without borders: Gypsy Dreams
Gypsy music is a road without end.
It was born where wagon wheels trace dusty paths, where campfires warm the night air, and where stars become the only roof above. It speaks the language of the heart — of longing and joy, of quiet tears and sudden bursts of laughter.
Gypsy Dreams is a love story told without words, a confession carried on the strings and voices of its performers. A melody may begin as a tender whisper, only to swell into a whirlwind of rhythm and fire, sweeping you away and leaving behind the warmth of embers glowing in the soul.
On this special night, the stage will come alive with both beloved classics and rare treasures — performed live, with honesty, passion, and the artistry of three remarkable musicians:
RAISA KOPYLENKO — the radiant voice of a legendary musical dynasty. Granddaughter of Andrey Kopylenko, founder of the AME ROMA ensemble in 1934, and daughter of Artur Kopylenko, celebrated across Latvia and beyond. Today, Raisa leads the Gypsy show group AME ROMA. Her voice holds the strength of a lifetime, the tenderness of a woman’s soul, and the power to move hearts.
RINO RUDEVICH — Raisa’s son and heir to two great Latvian Roma families, the Kopylenkos and the Rudeviches. A fourth-generation musician, gifted guitarist, and possessor of a true, soul-deep Gypsy voice.
ALEXEY KOLESNIKOV — the virtuoso violinist who needs no introduction to audiences. An international competition laureate, master improviser, and festival favorite, Alexey’s violin speaks directly to the heart, touching its most delicate strings.
The “Dzintari” Small Hall will cradle each note, each breath of music, drawing the audience so close that the line between stage and seats disappears.
This is not just a concert — it is an evening where music becomes light, and every heartbeat becomes part of the song.
