The Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Maundy Thursday

The Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Maundy Thursday inaugurates the Great Three Days of Christ’s Passion, Death and Resurrection. In this act of worship we remember the institution of the Eucharist at the Last Supper, and the commandment of love that Jesus gave after washing the feet of the disciples.At the end of the Eucharist, the Sacrament is taken to the Lady Chapel where it will rest until the Good Friday Liturgy. We are invited to keep a Watch before the Sacrament as the darkness falls.No bookings required
