On April 11, three well-known Latvian singers—three sopranos, each with a unique voice and a distinct musical identity—will meet on one stage at Dzintari Concert Hall.
The concert programme is conceived as a journey through different eras and styles of vocal music: from the refinement of early music to the drama of opera, the intimacy of chamber music, and the theatrical charm of operetta.
Elīna Šimkus will guide the audience into the world of early music, gradually leading towards the sound of classical opera. Viktorija Majore will combine vocal virtuosity with the opera genre, as well as the subtle moods of Romantic and contemporary chamber music. Meanwhile, Jolanta Strikaite’s voice will bring to life the lightness, theatricality, and sparkling stage charisma of operetta.
At the conclusion of the concert, all three singers will unite in a shared musical finale.
